Haikus

When I taught middle school language arts, of course, I covered poetry and it's many forms. And of course I had to write some examples of my own. Because I didn't want to be left out of the fun, and it was a good way to teach by example.

I'll be posting my "examples" for the next several days. Enjoy!

Fluffy cotton ball
Disappearing in the brush
Attached to a hare

Linger of gray clouds
Casting shadows on gray stones
Shaping my gray mood

Eyes of a tiger
Body of a small kitten
The prey - a yarn ball
