Moths and Flames

When you shine brilliantly
I am drawn to you
My wings blaze
And I fall as Icarus
The feathers melting away
And I am naked
In your spotlight
Falling

But I can finally see
In that glow
That I am beautiful
And I own true wings
Phoenix wings
Which I spread
And I ascend
Like a star

And you, you shine like the sun
